Product Details

A highly edible species, the flowers often being used to make cordial or wine, and the berries also making wine or juice. In the wild, the edible Jelly Ear fungus is also most commonly to be found on the bark of the elder. The tree is distinctive for its corky, fissured bark, even on young specimens and is happy on most soil types, in a sunny spot.
